Web accessibility

Nautilus International is committed to providing a website that has a high level of accessibility for our entire audience, regardless of the technology used or the user’s ability.

We are actively working to increase the accessibility of our website and we aim to follow best-practice accessibility guidelines and comply with the relevant legislation.

The conformance also aims to ensure a smoother experience for seafarers on low bandwidth satellite communications, so we are keen to hear of any issue you discover when accessing the website at sea, or using the site on mobile phones, tablets and smaller laptops. Visually impaired users should also be able to experience the site using screen-reading web browsers.

Exceptions

Whilst Nautilus International strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines for accessibility and useability, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website.

We are continually seeking solutions that will bring all areas of the website up to the same standard of overall accessibility. In the meantime, If you have any difficulties viewing our website, or have suggestions for improvement, please email webmaster@nautilusint.org or telephone +44 (0)20 8989 6677 and ask for the web editor.
