Maritime UK has announced the programme for Maritime UK Week 2020.

This year it will run 12 to 18 October, with events taking place across the UK. To comply with Covid-19 restrictions there will be a hybrid of live and virtual content.

The content will focus on how the maritime industry can recover from Covid-19 and contribute to global recovery efforts. Other topics include mental health/wellbeing, maritime careers, diversity, decarbonisation, competitiveness and the potential for the maritime industry to boost regional development across the UK.

Mersey Maritime will be hosting Maritime Exchange 2020 on 15 October as part of Maritime UK Week. This second annual conference hosted by the cluster organisation is part-sponsored by Nautilus International and Nautilus general secretary Mark Dickinson will be speaking at the event about the themes, opportunities and challenges the industry has faced during the coronavirus pandemic.
